Former North Star pitcher Tim Bouvine could be eyeing a return to the mound in 2014.
Bouvine, 28, has struggled through numerous arm issues over his successful pitching career, last taking the mound in 2012. After a stellar season in 2011 where he establishd numerous TPNS pitching marks (4-2 W-L, 0.60 ERA, 37K's), Bouvine was only able to throw 17 innings in 2012 while battling through shoulder problems.
The addition of Bouvine would most certainly help bolster a pitching staff that was overworked in 2013, especially down the final stretch of the season, and could give the North Stars a big push towards making a run at the MBA state tournament.
